What size assemblies can you conduct?

We have equipment on hand for up to 400 participants at a time. Most schools however break their assemblies down by grade groupings such as K-2, 3-4 and 5-6.

Are your assemblies different based on grade?

Yes and no, we custom design the program based on the group dynamic and skill sets, not on particular grade. Our facilitators assess the capabilities of the group at the start of the program through a simple rhythmic activity. Our experience has shown that a careful blend of pacing and demand can be done on the fly and as needed to maximize engagement while at the same time keeping the experience accessible to all.

You actually issue instruments to everyone in the audience?

Yes, everyone will get an opportunity to participate with various instruments in the percussion family including shakers, scrapers, woods, metals, tuned percussion and of course drums.

What locations work best for this type of assembly?

We prefer using a multi-purpose room, gym or similar indoor structure so that seating can be set up in a circular form. We have found circular seating to allow the audience an optimum experience in seeing and hearing what is going around them. We have conducted assemblies in auditoriums which work as well.

Our school does not have a huge budget, how much will this cost?

Several factors will go into your final quote. When quoting an event, we factor the distance of travel from Burbank, how many participants we will be working with and the length of time of performance. We understand that funds are tight everywhere and will do our best to work with you on options to keep our program as affordable as possible.

Will our kids have a fun, educational and safe experience?

Absolutely!!! Not to bang our own drum, but the popularity of One World Rhythm events has skyrocketed since our inception which is no wonder why nearly 100 public and private agencies have booked with One World Rhythm in just the upcoming months alone! But don’t take our word for it. Check out the calendar on the web site to see for yourself. http://oneworldrhythm.com/c2/

Is there any special requirements for the performance?

We will need to have access to an electrical outlet for our sound system. If we could have a couple of tables available it would also help us to pre-stage some of the gear that we will be handing out. We will arrive approximately 1 hour prior to assembly start time to set up. We carry a trailer of gear with us for your event, so we will need to get instructions for parking etc.

We are ready to book, how do we proceed?

Great! Give us a call at (818) 332-0679 so we can confirm availability for your date and time requested (or use the BOOK NOW link found to the right side of this page). We can also give you a quote. If all looks good, we will send confirmation paperwork and invoice to your school or PTA and place you on the schedule. The invoice is due and payable on or before your performance date.
