On October 7th, 2005 One World Rhythm participated in the 7th Annual health fair at Shriners Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Representatives from social service agencies set up booths to raise awareness and inform patients, families and community members about available resources. Information booths offering free dental screenings, blood pressure checks, lead poisoning prevention, cancer information, tobacco education, arthritis information, immigration rights information and child abuse prevention were just part of the resources offered. One World Rhythm provided interactive entertainment as they conducted two rhythm based events for patients and guests. Some great drum grooves could be heard throughout the event hall and all participants left the sessions with beaming smiles.
